Canon Pixma MX700 gives error Code 259, when scanning to or from the PC. In a Windows Server 2003 environment, with redirected folders enabled.
Solution:
Change the Scan temp location to a local directory:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Canon\MP Navigator EX\1.0\000085C5E19F\Folders]
"ScanTempFolder"="X:\\tmp"
And/or in the Canon Config:
If you’re a domain administrator, you can push this setting with Group Policy Preferences (GPP):
