VMWare Tools installation cannot be started while Easy Install is in progress

When installing VMWare Tools in Windows 7 within VMWare Workstation 7.0 you could get this error message:

“VMWare Tools installation cannot be started while Easy Install is in progress”

VMWare Tools installation cannot be started while Easy Install is in progress

Solution:

Change the floppy drive in VMWare Workstation Settings:

Change VMWare floppy
Change VMWare floppy

To:

Change VMWare floppy
Change VMWare floppy

VMWare Tools will install as it should ..
