If you are using Windows 2008 R2 as a workstation (for the Hyper-V feature for example), Offline Files isn’t a feature you can use out of the box. How to get Offline Folders working on Windows 2008 R2?
First you need Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 Driver for Windows Vista (64-bit), download and install.
The next step is enabling Offline Files. Type in the search box “offline files” and choose “Manage Offline Files”.
