I had an annoying white popup after installing extensions within the Google Chrome browser. This happened on a VMware Workstation virtual machine. Workstation and the VMtool where up-to-date.
The quick fix was turnung Off Hardware Acceleration in Google Chrome, by adding “–disable-gpu” to the shortcut.
